Front Desk Receptionist (Bilingual Mandarin/Cantonese)Astrana Health is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to provide clinical and administrative support at our Pacific Medical Imaging and Oncology Center (PMIOC) clinic in Alhambra, CA. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, organized, and comfortable adapting to fast paced environments while providing a consistent, positive experience for patients. We are ideally seeking candidates who speak Cantonese or Mandarin fluently to best serve our patient population.Our Values:Put Patients FirstEmpower Entrepreneurial Provider and Care TeamsOperate with Integrity & ExcellenceBe InnovativeWork As One TeamWhat You'll Do:Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physicianAdministrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical recordsClinical duties may include, such as preparing a treatment room for patient exams, recording patient medical history, and cleaning and sterilizing medical equipmentEscort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in the patient's chartInterviews patients to obtain their medical historyRecords patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical filesMust be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-pace environmentGood verbal and written communication skillsBe able to prioritize workload while remaining flexibleMay be required to work overtime to meet tight deadlinesAdditional duties as assigned.Qualifications:At least one (1) or more years of experience working as a Medical Assistant or equivalent healthcare experienceHigh school diploma or GEDYou're great for this role if:Bilingual in Mandarin and/or Cantonese preferredAbility to maintain confidentiality following HIPAADemonstration of mature judgmentAttention to detail, organized, ethical, and reliableAbility to communicate clearly and effectively in a courteous and friendly mannerEnvironmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:Our organization follows an in-person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a daily basis.Location: 707 S Garfield Ave., B001, Alhambra, CA 91801Schedule: 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.The national target pay range for this role is $20 - $25 per hour.
