Facilities Engineer

Pride Health is hiring a Facilities Engineer to support our client’s medical facility based in Chantilly VA 20151 .* This is a 3 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!*

Location : Chantilly VA 20151

Duration : 03months Contract/ Likely to convert to FT based on performance

Shift : 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM - on-call for 24/7 coverage in the building

Payrate : $25- $32 /hr. on W2/*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

✅ High School Diploma or GED

✅ 3–5+ years of facilities engineering/building maintenance experience

✅ Strong hands-on experience with:

• HVAC systems
• Refrigeration systems
• Boilers and chillers
• Electrical systems
• Plumbing systems
• Compressed air systems

✅ Experience in a critical environment such as:

• Life sciences
• Pharmaceutical facilities
• Biotechnology labs
• Hospitals
• Data centers
• Manufacturing plants

✅ Building Automation Systems (BAS) experience

• Johnson Controls
• Siemens
• Honeywell
• Similar platforms

✅ Ability to troubleshoot and maintain facility infrastructure

✅ Experience using CMMS systems for maintenance documentation

Required Certifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal)
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• NFPA 70E
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Training
• Opacity Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC/R Certification (NATE or equivalent)
• Stationary Engineer or Boiler License
• BAS Certifications
• Water Treatment Certification
• Lean Six Sigma / Kaizen
• GMP-regulated environment experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field

Ideal Candidate Summary

• A Facilities Engineer with 5+ years of experience maintaining critical building systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing) in a regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, hospitals, or life sciences. Must possess EPA 608 certification and strong troubleshooting skills, with experience supporting laboratory environments, clean rooms, and building automation systems while ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.
