Treatment Foster ParentsIntercept Health is a licensed provider of Treatment Foster Care (TFC) in Virginia, partnering with individuals and families to serve as Treatment Foster Parents for the over 5,000 children in Virginia's foster care system. Interested in learning how you can become a foster parent? Or maybe you just want to learn how you can help more? To qualify as a treatment foster parent you must be:At least 21 years old and live in VirginiaMarried or single (not cohabitating)Physically (able to pass a physical exam) and emotionally stableFinancially stable without the use of State assistanceAble to provide space in your home to accommodate a foster childWilling to work as a member of the TFC teamAble to help a child cope with separation, loss, and griefAble to nurture a child's safe connection with biological family and return home goalsWilling to help the child preserve relationships as well as build new onesAble and willing to comply with licensing standards for foster family homesAble to pass a background checkAble to provide a valid driver's license and have an insured vehicle All of our TFC parents and families are supported through:LoveSupportive Case ManagementExtensive Pre-Service & Ongoing training24/7 On-Call Support from our Trauma-Informed Care Certified TeamMonthly financial reimbursement If interested.....call 844.987.KIDS or just click and complete our qualification quiz here and we will be in touch shortly.
