Your Role and Responsibilities

• Completing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and creating personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic medical conditions under the purview of your experience or in collaboration with physicians
• Informing patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness, and disease management strategies

Educational Background Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Licenses and Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Alaska
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or commitment to obtain within 90 days)
