SAP MM Functional Consultant (Contract)Location: Waukegan, IL — onsite Monday–Friday, 5 days/week (no remote/hybrid) Duration: Through September 30, 2027 (extension possible, budget-dependent) Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hrs/week — non-exempt, OT paid at time-and-a-half Employment: W2 onlyWhat You'll Be DoingYou'll be the SAP Materials Management expert on a team supporting 20+ active SAP projects. Day to day, that means configuring SAP MM, writing functional design specs, running testing, and working with business stakeholders and developers to get solutions live. Roughly half the job is documentation, a few hours a week is meetings, and the rest is hands-on project and configuration work.What You Need10+ years hands-on SAP MM — configuration, not just oversightDeep Materials Management and Purchasing knowledge: purchase requisitions and POs, RFQ and vendor management, inventory and physical inventory, goods receipt/issue, material master data, source determination, subcontracting, consignment, STOs, invoice verificationIntegration experience across FICO, SD, PP, PS and boundary systemsStrong documentation and testing backgroundWorks on SAP ECC (this is not an S/4HANA environment)Nice to HaveSAP Solution Manager, testing/documentation toolingPharma, life sciences, or other regulated-industry backgroundGlobal, multi-country SAP rollout experienceCollege degree or higher
