What You'll Do
- Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population in a Critical Access Hospital
- Work across all patient units, including ER and Med Surg
- Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to manage patient care for typically 3-5 patients per shift
- Assist in crisis management and prioritize patient needs efficiently
- Document patient information accurately using Cerner EMR system
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including mask usage during flu season
- Share ER and Med Surg responsibilities among team members to optimize patient care
What You Need
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC (through AHA); NRP highly preferred (must have or scheduled)
- Prior ER and Med Surg experience
- Ability to work rotating weekends (every 3rd weekend)
- Ability to work the scheduled shifts and meet staffing needs at Sabetha hospital
