IOP Phlebotomist

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Huntsville, Alabama patient service center to perform blood collections, handle specimen processing, and provide customer service. The position involves venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups, with a Monday-Thursday schedule plus rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
Prepare specimens for testing and enter patient data accurately
Process billing information and collect patient payments
Travel to additional clinical sites as needed and perform administrative duties

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
Minimum three months phlebotomy experience or current certification
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven customer service experience
