Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy, expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. Responsibilities will include assisting in various catheterization procedures and ensuring the operation of equipment in the cath lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coronary angiography and intervention procedures.
• Manage emergency medications and equipment during procedures.
• Document all procedures accurately in the required systems: Maclab and Meditech.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Participate in calls, with an obligation of 7-9 call days monthly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of emergency medications.
• Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) preferred, relevant certifications in Cath Lab operations.
