Abbott seeks an entry-level microbiologist for night-shift work at its Casa Grande nutrition manufacturing facility. The role involves microbiological testing of raw ingredients, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure product safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological analysis of raw ingredients, in-process samples, and finished products
• Conduct environmental monitoring to ensure manufacturing compliance
• Prepare growth media and perform general laboratory housekeeping
• Document results and troubleshoot testing issues
• Communicate findings and collaborate with microbiologist team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year college lab studies and 1 year college mathematics
• 2 years laboratory experience OR 4 years food/pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for infant formula and nutritionals
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a small team environment
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills

Compensation: $19.05 – $38.15/hour
