Accountant/Bookkeeper

Balcon Enterprises, Inc. is a leading provider of new and used Gaylord boxes, bulk bags, and industrial packaging products across the United States. This role supports the company’s financial operations by combining day-to-day bookkeeping with accounting analysis, budgeting support, and accurate reporting in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Record and reconcile financial transactions, including income, expenses, purchases, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity. Maintain accurate accounting records using spreadsheets and accounting software, including NetSuite. Review ledgers and support documentation for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and correct errors promptly. Support month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and routine financial calculations. Organize and maintain receipts, invoices, and other financial records in accordance with company procedures. Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and reporting activities. Collaborate with operations and internal teams to support efficient financial processes and strong internal controls. Qualifications Education & Experience Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required. 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or managing accounting functions required. Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Balcon Enterprises, Inc. uses NetSuite.
