Analyst II

Effective July 1, 2025 in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 01 , and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by three percent and will receive five PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 30, 2027 .

This position is located in the Healthcare Invoicing Section, which is responsible for processing health care claims for hospitals, physicians, ambulances, registries, and other health care providers. Additionally, this attentive team supports cost containment projects including securing federal reimbursement for Medi-Cal eligible patient services.


Under the general direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II performs a variety of complex technical analytical duties on the Federal Reimbursement Team within the Health Care Contracts and Claims Management Branch (HCCCMB), Healthcare Invoicing Section (HIS). Specific amounts of overtime, travel, and institution visits may vary.
