About the Position

We are seeking a Locums Non-Invasive Cardiologist for an outpatient cardiology opportunity in Brattleboro, Vermont. This is a weekday position with no weekend or call responsibilities and a primarily adult patient population.

Compensation: $2200 Per Day

Position Highlights

• Schedule: 3–5 days per week

• Outpatient Cardiology

• No weekends

• No call

• Average 16 clinic patients per day

• Adult patient population

• 61-bed facility

• EMR: Cerner

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology evaluation and management.

• Evaluate and manage a variety of cardiovascular conditions.

• Perform and interpret echocardiograms and EKGs.

• Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing follow-up care.

• Order and interpret diagnostic testing as appropriate.

• Coordinate referrals and care with other medical specialists.

• Provide patient education regarding cardiovascular health and disease management.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology

• Active Vermont medical license required

• Current DEA registration

• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA)

• Current CPR certification
