Network Administrator

Our client, a leading organization in the technology infrastructure sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Network Administrator 3 to join their dynamic team. As a Network Administrator 3, you will be integral to supporting and maintaining the core network infrastructure that powers critical operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to network management, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s commitment to innovation and excellence. Job Title: Network Administrator 3 Location: Rockdale, TX (Onsite) Pay Range: $62-$65 What's the Job? Design, deploy, and support advanced data center network fabrics, including VXLAN EVPN Spine-Leaf architectures. Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and static routes to ensure optimal network performance. Support and maintain data center switching platforms and network infrastructure, including Arista, Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, and Aruba technologies. Perform onsite troubleshooting of network, server, and application connectivity issues to minimize downtime. Lead network upgrades, hardware refreshes, migrations, and expansion projects to enhance network capabilities. What's Needed? 7+ years of enterprise or data center network engineering experience with a focus on large-scale environments. Hands-on experience with VXLAN EVPN fabrics, Spine-Leaf architectures, and routing protocols like BGP and OSPF. Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, VLANs, VRFs, QoS, and network monitoring tools. Experience troubleshooting complex production networks and supporting cloud networking platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work onsite and perform physical troubleshooting within a data center environment. What's in it for me?
