Title
Speech-Language Pathologist

Schedule

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week

Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- LTC or Rehabilitation experience required
- Texas State License required
- CCC certified Speech-Language Pathologist required
- 3 years of experience holding active CCS preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.
- Develop appropriate plans of care that follow regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments according to evaluations and outcomes.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients and their families regarding speech disorders.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans.

Compliance / Notes
- Adhere to ASHA and state-required practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics during professional practice.
- Participation in required meetings and training sessions is expected.
