Our boutique law firm client in Lewes, Delaware is seeking a Corporate Litigation Attorney to join their growing team. Position Overview

The Corporate Litigation Attorney will support a range of corporate and business litigation matters, working closely with firm leadership and clients on disputes from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of litigation experience, though we are also open to candidates with a strong interest in developing a litigation practice.

Candidates do not need to be barred in Delaware at the time of hire. The firm is committed to supporting the selected candidate through the process of sitting for the Delaware Bar.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of corporate and commercial litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Manage discovery, including document review and preparation of responses.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as needed.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Support partners on complex business disputes and other litigation-related matters.
• Maintain organized case files and meet litigation deadlines.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 2–5 years of litigation experience preferred, ideally in corporate, commercial, or civil litigation.
• Candidates with less direct experience but a demonstrated interest in litigation are encouraged to apply.
• Admission to any state bar required; Delaware bar admission is not required at the time of hire.
• Willingness to sit for the Delaware Bar, with firm support provided.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small firm environment.
• Strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
