Role Description The Adolescent Direct Care Associate is a part-time or full-time, on-site role located in Du Bois, PA. This role supports adolescents in a residential setting through consistent supervision, positive role modeling, and daily guidance. Typical responsibilities include monitoring resident activities, assisting with routines such as meals, study time, and recreation, and enforcing program rules and safety protocols. The associate will help facilitate group activities, provide emotional support, document observations and incidents, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. The role also involves maintaining a clean, organized environment, responding calmly to crises or conflicts, and participating in ongoing training to support high-quality care. Qualifications Ability to build respectful, supportive relationships with adolescents and maintain professional boundaries. Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills for working with youth and colleagues. Capacity to remain calm under pressure, manage conflict, and follow safety and crisis intervention procedures. Organizational skills to follow schedules, complete documentation accurately, and support daily routines. Team-oriented mindset with reliability, flexibility, and willingness to follow agency policies and guidance. High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in social services, psychology, or related fields is beneficial. Prior experience working with adolescents or in residential, behavioral health, or social services settings is preferred.
