LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - ELIZABETHTOWN HEALTHCARE & REHAB CENTER Liberty Health Elizabethtown, North Carolina, United States About this position We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a dedicated residential rehabilitation facility. This role involves daily supervisory activities, direct patient care, and collaborative teamwork with RNs and physicians. Sign-on Bonus: $15,000. Responsibilities Assist in direction of nursing services for unit/hall, in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Delegate duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel and monitor work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Observe patients for symptoms or reactions, documenting changes in physical and/or mental condition. Notify attending physicians of emergencies and patient deaths and implement changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school graduate. Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing; provide proof of license renewal every other year. Willing to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies to assure adequate coverage. Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow physicians’ orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing. CPR certified yearly.
