Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department recognized among the top 10 busiest EDs in Ohio
• Deliver nursing care across a 38-bed ED that includes 2 dedicated trauma bays within a Level III Trauma Center
• Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Participate in every-other-weekend and holiday rotation schedules as required
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR — proficiency is required for this role

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 completed Emergency Department travel assignments and/or 3 years of current or recent ED experience
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required — candidates without documented Epic experience will not be considered regardless of ED experience level

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification strongly preferred
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification strongly preferred
• Experience in a high-volume or trauma-designated Emergency Department
