The date after which applications are not guaranteed reviewis : 6/26/2026 Hours Per Week: Up to 28 Hours Compensation Type: Hourly Salary Employee Classification: PT Support Staff- Union Level: PT Support-S3 Division: Community Education & Workforce Dev - 30000 Department: East Lansing Extension Center - 30211 Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming learning environment for the public, students, faculty, and staff at LCC East in East Lansing. Provide general clerical support for the extension center and associated programs. Provide student services assistance to current and prospective students. Assist faculty with classroom equipment and class preparation. Active member of the Building Emergency Response Team (BERT) and would assist with any emergency response matters at LCC East. Monitor building via Ocularis video system. Report any issues or concerns to leadership or other appropriate parties. Assist with the hiring and training of student employees. Must be available to work weekday morning, afternoon, and/or evening shifts on a regular basis. Work schedule may fluctuate based on semester needs and during semester breaks. May be needed to work at other campus locations on an occasional basis. Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community. LCC policy requires all LCC employees to be residents of the State of Michigan and to perform all work (with limited exceptions) within the State of Michigan. Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.
