Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Alexandria, Louisiana. This full-time position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a MedSurg environment with a focus on post-surgical and neuro patient populations. The role requires a certified and licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with travel experience and the ability to work days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM at least 36 hours per week. The nurse will demonstrate independence, clinical competency, and the ability to collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and well-being.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred), BLS certification from AHA required, RN license in state of employment or with a compact license, at least 1 year of related nursing experience, proven travel experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma level settings, teaching hospital environment, EPIC electronic medical record system proficiency
• Float: Float rotation may be required depending on staffing needs
• Additional Information: This role involves working with a nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1, with potential for temp-to-perm placement. The position requires no on-call duties, with scheduling based on operational needs. The candidate should be prepared for potential weekend shifts and floating to different units if necessary.
