THE ROLE Supervises and coordinates activities of stand workers in the VIP area, manages stand set‑up and closing procedures, ensures workstations remain clean and stocked, orders replacement items, completes required paperwork, enforces alcohol policies, and oversees food preparation standards. The supervisor must be knowledgeable of all positions and able to fill any role in the Premium department when needed, help control inventory, train staff on responsible beverage service, document cash handling procedures, conduct physical inventory audits, perform reconciliations, and assist with any other duties as required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support all food and beverage operations. Directly supervise staff while interacting with guests. Maintain and control high‑volume food and beverage inventory. Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages. Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and food quality. Document and enforce all cash handling procedures. Coordinate with co‑workers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures. Perform physical audit of inventory and product. Research and perform reconciliations. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Carrying out supervisory duties in accordance with Legends Global policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma required. At least two years of supervising experience in food management. Ability to complete required pre‑employment food and alcohol service training if needed (TIPs, ServSafe certification). Skills and Abilities Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with a POS system. Guest service and communication skills. Fast‑paced problem‑solving. Personable, proactive, and self‑motivated. Organized, able to jump from task to task and prioritize. Work under pressure and meet deadlines. Adapt quickly to change. Punctual and dependable. English language proficiency (speak, read, write). Maintain personal hygiene and a well‑groomed appearance. Occasionally lift, carry, and store items up to 30 pounds. Sit and use computer workstations for extended periods. WORKING CONDITIONS Location: On‑site – Grand Rapids Complex (Van Andel Arena, Acrisure Amphitheater, Amway Stadium), Grand Rapids, Michigan. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Physical requirements include the ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods, as well as occasional heavy lifting up to 30 pounds.
