As a Screener at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, you will help monitor assigned areas, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations through visible presence, strong communication, and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or personal belongings in accordance with site policies, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting security-related procedures and documentation requirements.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening practices and clear communication.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing for security-related concerns and reporting maintenance, access, and/or operational issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
