Registered Nurse Step Down

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months' permanent experience in the specialty applying for required. License: Must have a valid Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required. Must-Have: - Must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for. - Must have a valid Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission. - One reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. Description: Client Main Campus Client Med/Surg Tele RN position available. Potential to float to other units to care for the same patient population. Rotating shifts include both night and day. Shifts may be variable to meet the operational needs of the facility. Must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Travelers should be aware of compliance requirements regarding background checks. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements. A negative drug screen for nicotine is required for all other travelers. Candidates must complete required background checks within a specified timeframe after signing the contract. Extensions are available, with conditions. Annual competency requirements must be completed for continuous contracts. Modules for certification and training are required prior to contract commencement and may vary in time required. Travelers must ensure all certifications are active and available at the time of application.
