Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met across all stores, enhancing customer satisfaction. Maintain an impeccable store image; all locations should be clean, well-stocked, and ready for customers. Manage store operations to adhere to established inventory levels, salary budgets, and profit margins for maximum profitability. Drive sales and profits through the effective execution of corporate merchandising strategies. Uphold company policies and comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Oversee personnel processes (hiring, training, performance evaluations, discipline, and termination) in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Supervise store associates consistently, adhering to EEOC guidelines. Collaborate on promotional initiatives according to the Marketing Department’s directives. Conduct competitor analysis, suggest price adjustments when needed, and observe market trends. Mentor subordinates for professional growth and advancement, ensuring a skilled workforce. Provide coaching and assess direct reports’ performances, offering constructive feedback and development opportunities. Enforce compliance with regulations related to the sale of alcohol and tobacco. Ensure the timely completion of necessary paperwork on daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Set individual and team objectives for each department, tracking performance and ensuring they are achievable. Ensure employees follow their scheduled shifts and adhere to proper timekeeping procedures. Resolve conflicts promptly and effectively. Prepare and submit departmental budgets. While this job description outlines the key duties, employees may be required to perform additional tasks as assigned. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of three years of management or relevant experience. Completion of Break Time Area Supervisor training within six months of appointment. Demonstrated responsibility, integrity, dependability, and stability. Ability to learn and adapt to new concepts and technical materials efficiently. Proficient in performing mathematical calculations for transactions and inventory management. Skill in using computers and office productivity tools consistently. Adept at prioritizing and delegating tasks to achieve optimal outcomes. Ability to visually inspect the work environment and ensure safety compliance. Physically capable of lifting and managing inventory up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand or drive for extended periods, up to nine hours. Comfortable working in cold environments, such as coolers and freezers. Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Travel up to 15% may be necessary for training and meetings. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Ability to clear pre-employment screenings including drug tests and background checks. Preferred Skills Bachelor’s degree. Three years of experience managing multiple convenience stores. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and high accuracy in work. Exceptional organizational skills. Proven sales capabilities.
