Latin Graduate (TT-Latin) Hertfordshire, England Salary: GBP24,066 - GBP36,718 per annum EdEx is representing a Trust of Schools located across London and Hertfordshire seeking aspiring teachers across all subjects through salaried and unsalaried routes. This Latin Graduate Program is offered as a “Earn, while you teach & learn” route – a salaried Schools Direct scheme. Key points about the scheme: Paid position on the Unqualified Teacher (UQT) scale (most commonly UQ1) Employed directly by a school from day one Higher initial teaching load, typically around 15 periods per week Teaching load gradually increases to approximately 20 periods per week One dedicated training day per week Opportunity to gain QTS with PGCE (optional opt-out available if required) Working at one school throughout – avoiding any conflict in different teaching styles (reducing stress on teacher) One of the schools is looking for a Latin Graduate to join their secondary school in September 2026. This is a full‑time, term‑time only position. You will be working across the Humanities Department, supporting KS3‑4 lessons, with a focus on attainment and the quality of learning.
