Showroom Manager

Interface is a global flooring and sustainability leader dedicated to rethinking how spaces work for people and the planet. Position Summary The Showroom Manager is responsible for providing inside sales, presenting products to local designers, keeping the showroom space/sample library organized, and running showroom events. Educational Requirements High School Diploma. Ideally a four‑year college degree in Design or a related field. Skills and Experience One to three years of sales experience in a retail/design environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation and customer relationship skills. Demonstrated organization and follow‑up skills. Preferred: Design experience and proficiency with Canva, Instagram, LinkedIn, PowerPoint, and Excel. Essential Duties Open and close the showroom daily. Provide inside sales and set up/manage showroom events, including occasional evenings and weekends. Generate traffic into the showroom. Present information of all brands clearly, accurately, and professionally. Communicate Mission Zero, Seven Fronts of Sustainability, and Climate Take Back. Present product information to local designers. Maintain the showroom and develop/implement plans to maximize sales. Create and implement showroom displays. Assist walk‑in customers. Manage on‑site tile sample inventory. Work with AE’s to provide samples to clients. Coordinate Lunch n’ Learn and other events for AE’s. Co‑ordinate facility utilities, maintenance, janitorial contracts and needs. Maintain housekeeping. Comply with safety and environmental regulations, and be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Demands Occasional lifting and moving of less than 50 lbs. Occasional travel. Work Environment Office/Showroom setting.
