This role handles general ledger entries, account reconciliations, cost and inventory accounting, and monthly close activities. You'll analyze manufacturing variances, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and prepare financial reports that support plant leadership. Work closely with operations to ensure accurate job costing, compliance with company policies, and audit readiness. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, Excel-proficient, and comfortable in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment driven by continuous improvement. Responsibilities Prepare and post general ledger journal entries Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve variances Support cost and inventory accounting for manufacturing operations Analyze production and purchase price variances Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Prepare financial statements and management reports for plant leadership Support budgeting and forecasting activities Maintain and strengthen internal controls and compliance documentation Partner with operations to ensure accurate job costing and inventory valuation Assist with internal and external audit requests and schedules Required Skills General ledger accounting Account reconciliation Cost accounting Inventory accounting Manufacturing variance analysis Budgeting and forecasting Financial reporting Excel (advanced) ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle) Internal controls and compliance #J-18808-Ljbffr
