Pharmacist - Travel Job

We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you’ll use your clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges. Minimum Requirements:

• Current Pharmacist license for Utah required.
• Experience with Pyxis and CIISafe required.
• Experience using VigiLanz required.
• Previous experience managing pharmacy technicians required; candidate will work alone with a technician for portions of the shift (approximately 5.5 hours of a 10-hour shift).
• Experience with Meditech, DoseEdge, or RXMS preferred.
• BLS or ALS preferred but not required.
• Minimum 6 months of pharmacist experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations, including NICU, ICU, OR, ED, inpatient rehab, behavioral health, or trauma center environments.
• Familiarity with consult services (warfarin, vancomycin, TPN, insulin) and clinical intervention management.
• Experience with pharmacy automation (BD Pyxis) preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 12:30 - 23:00.
• Schedule pattern: 7 on, 7 off (works seven consecutive days, then seven days off).
• Pharmacy is staffed 24 hours; staffing includes multiple day pharmacists and a night pharmacist.
