Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician TDLR & EPA for a direct hire opportunity in San Antonio, TX. This full-time role is ideal for a skilled HVAC Service Technician with strong residential and commercial service experience, excellent diagnostic ability, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and service on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
- Install HVAC components and equipment as needed while following code, safety, and quality standards.
- Service split systems, package units, heat pumps, furnaces, rooftop units, air handlers, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, technical manuals, and service documentation.
- Communicate repair recommendations clearly while providing professional customer service.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $20.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Full-time.

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals to identify system issues.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and customer documentation.

- Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience in residential and commercial environments.
- Current TDLR HVAC Registration or License required.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required, Universal preferred.
- NATE Certification required.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Carrier HVAC equipment experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with smart thermostats and HVAC controls.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and commercial rooftop units.
- Experience using digital service software or mobile work order applications.
- Additional HVAC certifications or manufacturer training.
