TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Portland, Oregon, 97213!

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required in labor and delivery License: Active nursing license required Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Must have a vehicle for this assignment Description: This position requires floating between units as per unit needs. On-call availability is required if a shift is not available. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Expected patient ratios are 1:1 or 1:3 for couplets. There are no approved 48-hour shifts. Traveling professionals may be assigned to float to other units depending on their skill sets. The facility provides support through various interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, and pharmacy services. Patient demographics include women of childbearing years and newborns. The unit expects approximately 200-300 births per month. Staff members may be asked to work in areas of need including labor, mother-baby, and antepartum. Special equipment and systems utilized include fetal monitoring systems and other necessary medical devices. Travelers may receive additional incentives if floating to certain facilities. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary due to the nature of the work environment. Candidates must be willing to complete required training modules prior to starting.
