Job Description

Take your Speech-Language Pathology expertise into a vibrant educational setting, working closely with K-8 students in a supportive, collaborative environment. Serving both elementary and middle grades at two schools just minutes apart, you’ll experience a dynamic caseload and the camaraderie that comes with being part of a dedicated Speech team.

Step into a role where your assessments, IEP writing, and direct services foster real growth and communication skills among students. You’ll find several experienced SLPs on site, which means support is always available, but there are no SLPA duties required. This is an engaging, full-time contract opportunity ideal for travel therapists or Clinical Fellows ready to build their careers in a school-based setting.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• State licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
• Experience working with K-8 caseloads preferred—but open to new graduates and travelers
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation competencies
• Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with educators, staff, and families
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy and language services to K-8 students
• Complete thorough speech/language assessments and contribute to eligibility decisions
• Participate in IEP meetings and write clear, actionable IEP goals and documentation
• Communicate student progress with families and staff
• Collaborate with other SLPs for professional support and shared resources
• Maintain compliance with school and district policies

Experience personal and professional growth surrounded by fellow speech professionals, with opportunities to positively influence students’ development and communication. If you’re driven to make a difference in school-based therapy, thrive in diverse environments, and want to shape young learners’ futures, we encourage you to apply now. Let your expertise shine while building lasting connections!
