Director of MarTech Operations

Seeking a highly technical and hands-on Director of MarTech Operations, this full-time remote position will manage the data infrastructure for performance marketing, focusing on tracking architecture, auditing, and cross-functional strategy between marketing and engineering teams. Key responsibilities Own the tagging ecosystem by managing Google Tag Manager, deploying and maintaining conversion pixels and event tags Conduct comprehensive tracking audits to identify and resolve data discrepancies and ensure tracking integrity for campaigns Oversee the operational flow of first-party data for audience creation and enforce a global UTM taxonomy for clean analytics Required qualifications 7-10+ years of experience in digital marketing operations or technical marketing at a senior level Deep expertise in paid media ad operations and hands-on knowledge of tracking mechanisms and Tag Management systems Technical fluency in web coding languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) relevant to tag firing and data-layer variables Strong understanding of CRM data, web analytics, and paid media data interactions; basic SQL skills are a plus Exceptional communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
