Ultrasound sonographer

The RoleWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cardiovascular Sonographer who takes pride in delivering high-quality imaging and genuinely cares about patient experience. Diagnostic imaging plays a critical role in the care we provide, and were looking for someone who understands the importance of accuracy, professionalism, and compassion in every study performed. This is a close knit outpatient practice, where your expertise will be valued, and your contributions will directly impact patient care.This position can be FT/PT or PRN.What You'll Do- Perform ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and procedures.- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.- Collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss imaging results and patient care.- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of ultrasound findings.- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.- Educate patients about the ultrasound process and answer any questions they may have.- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.What We're Looking For- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.-Vascular ultrasound experience preffered- Proven experience in performing ultrasound examinations.- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality imaging results.Nice to Have- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
