Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while maintaining a structured work life. The role requires you to engage with clients through telehealth platforms, ensuring that you have the necessary technology to deliver effective therapy remotely. Our work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, emphasizing a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders, leveraging your expertise to inform treatment approaches.

• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances, working collaboratively to establish achievable goals.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions with clients, both individually and in groups, to provide sustained support, motivation, and guidance.

• Continuously assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapy techniques and interventions to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Establish appropriate referral pathways for clients in need of specialized services while maintaining effective communication with other healthcare professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with vary in background, age, and presenting issues. Sun River Behavioral Services primarily serves individuals struggling with mental health challenges, including but not limited to, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use, and relational conflicts. You will create a therapeutic environment that encourages clients to express themselves and work toward achieving healthier emotional states.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California is required.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
