Accounting Specialist
Accounting Specialist Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00-5:00 PM Pay Range: $19.00/hr - $21.00/hr DOE Location: Fort Myers, FL PrideStaff is a trusted staffing partner committed to connecting talented professionals with outstanding opportunities. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our client's collaborative team. We value responsibility, attention to detail, and long-term commitment. Accounting Specialist Responsibilities:
- Process basic Accounts Payable, including data entry of vendor invoices and standard weekly check runs.
- Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents, flagging discrepancies for review.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable by posting customer payments, entering cash receipts, and sending balance reminders.
- Perform basic account reconciliations and assist senior accounting staff with resolving simple balance disputes.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical accounting files and records.
Accounting Specialist Skills Required:
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in computerized accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar ERP system ), MS Excel/Office products, & Email.
- 1-2 years of entry-to-mid level accounting experience.
