What you'll do:

• Lead and guide the classroom with expertise, ensuring successful implementation of individualized Behavior Plans for students.
• Provide immediate intervention in moments of dysregulation, ensuring a safe and constructive learning environment.
• Collaborate with staff to develop solution-focused strategies and deliver constructive feedback to ensure the well-being of both students and staff.
• Help create a positive start to the day by leading morning routines with the children and documenting daily behaviors.
• Stay informed on Maine Department of Education regulations (Chapter 33) and manage restraint and seclusion procedures in line with internal policies, meeting all required timelines.

What you'll bring:

• Experience in behavior management and working in a therapeutic setting.
• Proficiency in maintaining safety and compliance with regulations.
