Job Description

This well-established, state-of-the-art, 500-bed acute care hospital is looking for a permanent, full-time Med Tech .

Job Description: 

\n

- Performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of the clinical laboratory

\n

- Assists in instructing other personnel as assigned

\n

- Performs with a perceptive depth of clinical laboratory tests and procedures which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility. 

\n

 

\n

Responsibilities: 

\n

- Show competency in performing testing procedures

\n

- Effectively use laboratory equipment

\n

- Perform and evaluate Quality Control Program

\n

- Assist with laboratory training program

\n

 

\n

Requirements: 

\n

- Bachelor’s Degree

\n

- NCA, ASCP, HEW or AMT certified 

\n

- 1 year general lab experience or equivalent clinical laboratory training program

\n

- acute care experience preferred

\n

\n
