A-Better Heat & Air Conditioning, a trusted Oklahoma-based contractor with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a meticulous and organised Data Entry Clerk to join our team. For decades, our certified technicians have provided exceptional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions, from central air conditioning to ductless mini-splits. We are looking for a dedicated individual to support our administrative operations by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company data. The ideal candidate will be a reliable professional with a keen eye for detail, capable of managing large volumes of information efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Accurately input and manage customer information, service appointments, and work order details in our company database.
• Update and maintain electronic records, including client accounts, service histories, and billing information.
• Process invoices, supplier details, and other financial data with a high degree of precision.
• Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check the output.
• Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
• Scan and organise documents, maintaining a systematic digital and physical filing system.
• Uphold strict confidentiality standards when handling sensitive company and customer information.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a data entry or similar administrative role.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy with a strong focus on data integrity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with office equipment such as printers and scanners.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
