Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Locations: Corbin, KY
Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule: 2-5 days per week, based on availability
Days: Weekdays and weekends
Setting: Evaluation / Telehealth

Position Overview

As a Medical Disability Evaluator, you will conduct structured clinical evaluations for disability compensation cases and provide objective, evidence-based medical opinions.

This is an evaluation-only position. The role does not involve prescribing medications, providing active treatment, or establishing ongoing continuity of care.

The ideal candidate has strong clinical assessment and documentation skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to conduct professional evaluations while following standardized regulatory and clinical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Disability Evaluations

• Perform comprehensive, structured clinical evaluations for disability compensation cases.

Clinical Documentation

• Accurately document clinical findings using standardized templates and guidelines.

• Complete evaluation reports thoroughly and within required timelines.

Medical Opinions & Causation Analysis

• Formulate clear, objective, evidence-based medical opinions.

• Provide appropriate causation analyses when required.

Compliance & Quality

• Follow federal, state, and organizational requirements governing disability evaluations.

• Participate in required training and quality-assurance activities as applicable.

Qualifications

Required

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Psychologist (LP) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) license.

• Active, unrestricted professional license in the state of residence.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified, as applicable.

• Clinical experience conducting psychological or behavioral health assessments.

• Excellent clinical documentation and report-writing skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret clinical information objectively.

• Comfortable working independently and managing evaluation requirements efficiently.

• A computer and technology setup capable of supporting virtual clinical assessments.
