NorthEast Electrical is seeking a full-time, Local Route CDL B Driver to join our team in Providence, RI. Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30am Start Rate: $26/hr Requirement: Must hold a valid CDL B license with a clean MVR for the past 5 years. RI Hoisting License Preferred.

As a NorthEast Electrical Driver for the Providence location, you will be the face of the company driving a company provided truck to transport materials to our valued customers. Responsibilities include operating company equipment in a safe manner, while ensuring that our product is in perfect condition and ready for our customers. The responsibilities listed below are encompassing of a Warehouse Driver but may vary accordingly. What a day in this role looks like:

• Delivering material in a timely manner to customers.
• Maintaining vehicle in proper working condition conduct daily inspections as stated in established policies and procedures.
• Load and unload trucks, move material in a safe manner using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• May assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL B License
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past five years
• Ability to meet DOT requirements
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
• Rhode Island Hoisting License preferred
