JOB SUMMARY Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount. * Performs public service cleaning duties in all areas as assigned. * Sweeps, mops and disposes of trash. * Set-up and removal of special event signage and area closure stations. * Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team. * Promotes outstanding customer relations. * Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Previous experience in cleaning of large public areas facility preferred. * Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position. * Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and/ or executes written, verbal and/or demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance. * Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management. * Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS * Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) lbs without difficulty, repeatedly. * Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and kneel for extended periods of time without difficulty. * Must be able to work flexible schedules due to the needs of the business, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
