Site Procurement Manager - Sustainable Technologies

Cardinal Health's Global Sourcing team is responsible for creating and managing diverse strategic supplier partnerships that drive enterprise value with innovation, best cost and competitive advantages that benefit customers, suppliers and patients. Develops and executes strategic plans by leveraging market intelligence, industry knowledge and cross-functional collaboration. Competitive advantage is created through supplier selection and management, contract negotiation, supply chain optimization and risk mitigation.As a Manager in Strategic Sourcing, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of raw materials and components for Cardinal Health Brand products, spend and suppliers. You will support the development of sourcing strategies to achieve best total value, sustainable productivity and high levels of quality and service aligned with cross-functional business objectives. Additionally, you will lead the execution of the sourcing strategies within your assigned manufacturing sites. This will include creating site-specific plans for strategy implementation, understanding resource requirements, and driving alignment with site leadership on timelines. You will also work with manufacturing partners to understand supply needs, effectively select suppliers, negotiate favorable contracts, and manage supplier performance and relationships. This will include understanding your portfolio risk profile and developing mitigation actions and plans. You will have the opportunity to participate in process improvement projects with cross-functional partners utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles.This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in the Riverview, Florida facility.Responsibilities Responsible for managing supplier escalations driven by site buyer/planner including assurance of supply, pricing discrepancies and accounts payable.Responsible for managing VIP pipeline accuracy through conducting stakeholder (Finance, GSM, Site resources) alignment meetings & subsequent project status reporting.Support development of sourcing strategies by utilizing strong process and project management skillsDevelop and execute requests for proposals, information, or quotes (RFx)Develop and execute site-specific addressable (non-contractual) supplier inflation mitigation plans.Support and lead supplier negotiations as required.Conduct site supplier discoveries and execute supplier due diligencePerform data analysis and utilize financial acumen to identify opportunities to leverage scale and drive cost savingsEstablish collaborative environment with key suppliers and manufacturing partners to optimize supplier performance and innovation.Review contract requirements to negotiate critical terms and conditions in line with sourcing strategy.Supporting supplier selection by being familiar with manufacturing, quality and supply chain processesDrive supplier performance management by utilizing supplier dashboards and reportingParticipate & represent sourcing in alignment with GSM as required at scheduled site QBRs and budget discussionsQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field, preferred4-6 years of experience in related field preferredResults oriented with proven execution experienceNegotiation experience, preferredProject Management experience, preferredKnowledge/experience in category management including technical product knowledge, cost drivers, related industry dynamics and market trends, preferredDemonstrated effectiveness in project and process management in order to execute sourcing strategy with cross functional teams.Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at various levels of expertise on a global landscape.Demonstrated financial acumen with an ability to interpret data and analyticsSolid presentation abilities, including proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and ExcelTravel 10-15%.What is expected of you and others at this levelApplies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projectsParticipates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goalsRecommends new practices, processes, metrics, or modelsWorks on or may lead complex projects of large scopeProjects may have significant and long-term impactProvides solutions which may set precedentIndependently determines method for completion of new projectsReceives guidance on overall project objectivesActs as a mentor to less experienced colleaguesAnticipated salary range: $105,100 - $165,110Bonus eligible: YesBenefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsApplication window anticipated to close: 8/7/2026 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.The salary range listed is an estimate.
