Electrical Assembler

YBI Recruiting is hiring 1st and 2nd Shift Electrical Assemblers on behalf of one of our manufacturing clients—an established U.S. company that builds and services specialized equipment used across utilities, telecom, construction, and infrastructure industries. The Electrical Assembler is responsible for reading and interpreting schematics (blueprints), installing wire harnesses, radios, brake controllers, functional lighting, back up alarms, inverters, outlets, and other electrical components.

Responsibilities Include:

• Installation of electrical wiring systems and components on trucks
• Testing and troubleshooting electrical malfunctions
• Use and conduct proper care of PPE
• Read and interpret work orders
• Use basic hand tools such as tape measures and specialty equipment
• Learn and operate all equipment within the work area (cell)
• Support company initiatives. May participate in Kaizen events
• Move to other work areas in order to support production needs (cross-train)
• Testing of installed components
• Follow established safety, environmental, and quality policies, procedures, and practices
• Maintain work area and shop tools/equipment
• Maintain daily time records
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements :

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend
• Basic computer usage knowledge
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and schematics
• Electrical or mechanical experience

Preferred Requirements:

• Electrical experience - automative electrical installation preferred

The compensation range for this position is $22.77-$26.50 per hour plus there is a $1.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
