Senior Structural Engineer

An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer for their Columbus team! Responsibilities include coordinating structural design with consultants, managing projects, building/maintaining client relationships, managing multiple projects at various stages in design, preparing project specifications, managing and assisting staff with document productions in Revit/AutoCAD, performing detailed design and analysis on projects, performing cost estimation/value engineering, performing site visits for observation and collecting existing information, responding to RFIs, change orders, and permit comments, assisting with proposal writing/fee estimation, performing QA/QC on projects, and reviewing shop drawings/inspection reports while maintaining project schedule.

Job Requirements: BS in Structural Engineering, 8+ years of structural design experience, PE registration preferred, advanced technical knowledge (Concrete, Steel, Wood, Masonry and Cold-form), experience in mid-rise multifamily and commercial office building design, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office (Word/Excel), familiarity with building/material codes (IBC, AISC, ACI, NDS, AISI), and experience working on Industrial, Institutional, Higher Education, and K-12 projects preferred.
