Customer Service Supervisor

TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Customer Service Supervisor to join our Toll By Plate Department in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary: This is an entry level supervisor position to assist with the supervision of the day-to-day operations of a 120 140 person department in our Toll By Plate area. The Supervisor is responsible to help oversee operational areas including staffing, quality assurance, facilities and customer satisfaction. This role helps ensure that departmental performance standards are met while supporting efficient operations and service delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with supervising, training, and monitoring the daily activities of the Toll By Plate staff.
• Ensure service requirements are met and maintained in accordance with established standards and contractual obligations.
• Handle escalated customer inquiries and phone calls, providing timely and effective resolution.
• Process Toll By Plate images, appeals and respond to customer correspondence as needed.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of staff work to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Monitor operational performance and provide feedback to employees to support continuous improvement.
• Support departmental initiatives, projects, and operational goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate information to make sound independent decisions.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required, with the flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications in a networked environment.
• Ability to effectively interact with employees, customers, and management at all levels.

Education: Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
