Occupational Therapist

MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a full-time, permanent Occupational Therapist to join a dedicated team at a reputable acute-care hospital located near Brownwood, Texas.

Salary: $77,700 - $104,730 annually

Primary Responsibilities:

Client Assessments: Perform comprehensive evaluations of clients' functional skills and needs using interviews, observations, and standardized assessments.
Schedule: Work five 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with one required Saturday shift per month.
Development of Treatment Plans: Design personalized treatment plans focused on enhancing fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
Therapeutic Interventions: Utilize therapeutic techniques, such as exercises, adaptive tools, and environmental adjustments, to help clients achieve their rehabilitation objectives.
Coordinated Care: Collaborate with doctors, nurses, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide unified and holistic care.

Requirements:

Occupational Therapy Degree: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
Experience: Prior experience is not required.
License: Must hold or be eligible for an Occupational Therapy license in Texas.
CPR Certification: Must maintain current certification.
Driver's License: A valid Texas Driver's License is needed for those designated as HMC Designated Drivers.
Designated Driver Status: Required.
OSHA Category: 2 - Moderate Risk level.
