Job Description

We are seeking skilled welders to join our team for a large-scale project involving structural steel. This position requires proficiency in MIG welding and involves working with structural steel of up to 2 inches thick. The role is part of our newly created 2nd shift in response to increased business demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on structural steel components.

• Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure accurate welding.

• Collaborate effectively within a team of up to three people.

• Maintain a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

• Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the work environment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding.

• Experience with structural steel, ideally with thicknesses up to 2 inches.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Strong teamwork capabilities.

Work Environment

The facility is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a focus on safety. The job shop is equipped with a variety of machinery, including presses and CNC mills. The welding area may experience higher temperatures due to proximity to warehouse doors. The 1st shift operates on a schedule of four 10-hour days, from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gahanna, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
