Tax Associate / Senior Tax Associate

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid – 3 Days In Office)

Schedule: Flexible Hybrid Work Environment

PTO: Up to 7 Weeks Annually

A growing, privately owned CPA firm in Houston is looking to add a Tax Associate or Senior Tax Associate to its expanding team. What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for a diverse client portfolio
• Work with closely held businesses, partnerships, corporations, high-net-worth individuals, and other complex entities
• Assist with tax planning, research, and consulting projects
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Collaborate with partners, managers, and staff across multiple engagements
• Stay current on tax law changes and identify planning opportunities for clients
• Contribute to process improvements and the continued growth of the tax practice

Qualifications

For Tax Associate:

• 1+ years of public accounting tax experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA track or CPA eligibility preferred

For Senior Tax Associate:

• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Experience handling more complex tax returns and client engagements
• CPA or active progress toward CPA preferred
• Ability to work independently while mentoring junior staff
