Job Description

Job Summary:
The Medical Technologist (MLT/Clinical Lab Scientist) is responsible for performing diagnostic laboratory tests across multiple areas, ensuring accurate and timely results to support patient care. The role requires versatility in various laboratory disciplines and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and analyze laboratory tests in Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Molecular diagnostics, and Microbiology.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures with precision and professionalism.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems independently to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with lab protocols and safety regulations.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment such as Abbott Architect, Beckman Coulter DXH series, and Cepheid systems.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize lab operations and ensure quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid BLS certification and either ASCP or AMT certification.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience, including travel experience preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and differential microscopy.
• Possess strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and work with various laboratory instruments.
• Be flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
