About the Position

License: Must have a valid license in hand. Certifications: BLS and BSN required. Must-Have: - Experience with catheter insertion and removal. - Phone triage experience. - Ambulatory/outpatient experience. - Ability to function independently. Description: This position involves working in ambulatory care focusing on urogynecology. The role requires training at designated locations initially, followed by working at multiple sites. Candidates should have experience in women’s health or pelvic floor urogynecology; this is preferred but not required. Expected patient interactions involve managing approximately eight visits per day. Familiarity with charting systems is necessary, with specific experience in Cerner preferred. Travel experience is required, and candidates must complete at least one travel assignment prior to consideration. Traveling nurses must prepare for an independent role in patient care management. Additional preferred skills include procedure assistance, Urodynamics, and Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS). The position entails collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and is focused on adult and geriatric patient populations. This role emphasizes effective communication, patient-centered care, and professional nursing practice.
